Our 3-day sesshin to close the 2021 Practice Period with Guiding Teacher Nomon Tim Burnett and Shuso Joden Bob Rose.
The practice of sesshin is a powerful opportunity including alternating sitting and walking meditation, a Dharma Talk, dokusan with the teachers, formal oryoki meals (when we aren't online!), breaks, and afternoon tea (when we aren't online).
The retreat ends with the Hossesnshiki Dharma Inquiry Ceremony with Shuso Joden Bob Rose on Sunday at 11am. All in the practice period are warmly invited to this ceremony.
Schedule: Thursday 7pm - 9pm Friday 7am - 8:30pm* Saturday 7am - 8:30pm* Sunday 7am - 1pm
* on full Zoom sesshin days 12:30pm - 4:30pm is for your own individual practice away from the screen.
Attendance: Full time attendance is preferred. Part time attendance is also fine but please commit to full days (do not come and go during a given day).
Other Options: you may come to the Dharma Talks on Friday and Saturday at 11:10am. All Practice Period participants are encouraged to come to the Shuso's Dharma Inquiry Ceremony on Sunday at 11am.
Registration: Please use the overall Practice Period Registration to describe your intentions for practice period and register for each of the events you will be attending during Practice Period.
